Mods vs Rockers NYC Revival?
Look, I don't wanna be the same as everybody else. That's why I'm a Mod, see? I mean, you gotta be somebody, ain't ya, or you might as well jump in the sea and drown.
It's an idea we at NYC Motorcyclist have been mulling over for a couple of years now ... reviving the Mods vs Rockers event in New York City. Cafe racers, scooters, a meet-up, a circuitous ride, bands, food, drinks ... pie-in-the-sky aspirations.
We are putting out feelers right now to gauge interest from the British Iron set and their Vespa rivals for an event in 2022. We are currently putting together a committee to go over the concept, and planning details with our partner Cine Meccanica. Think Quadrophenia ...
